On July 18th, we lost a friend, husband, father, brother, son and valuable member of the local music community. Jim Groscup was a gentle giant…a big guy with an even bigger heart, who treated his friends as family and loved his animals just as generously. His last illness lasted nearly two years, with major surgery, several extended hospital stays including MICU, and very little working income for either he or his wife, Susan, who was his loving nurse for these many months. Because of these factors, his family has been hit with devastating financial burden.
